We want to show the minor, ambiguous sides of our daily life.
We want to show the dark sides of our souls.
We want to show beautiful these dark sides can be.

We want to show pure emotions.
We want to show how important it is to be yourself.
We want to show that art is filled with passion.

We want to be vanguard, but not elitist.
We want to be creative, but not dissipative.
We want to be obscuristic.

We gathered together to please everyone with our very own typical style of art and try to spread this vanguard ideas.
We welcome everyone who thinks to himself that he can enrich our confraternity with his arts and ideas.
We like to support all kinds of art, whether it is traditional like drawings or paintings or digital or lyrical or every other kind of art.
We are predominantly junior artists and semi-professional, thus we look for folks of our kind.

~ How to become a obscuristic artist? ~


If you are a junior artist, want to support and be supported, feel obscure and want to give something of your deepest thoughts and feelings the chance to become art, you are warmly welcome.
Simply send a note with the subject "join obscuristic".
Following we will take a look at your art and decide whether you fit into our confraternity or not.

When you have become an obscuristic artist,
please place the code : iconobscuristic : (without spacebars)
into your journal.
If you want to, you also can link us in your signature.
We will be very thankful for that.
We please you to watch us because of news and projects.


~ Let your art become a part of obscurism ~


From time to time we will announce contests to several topics and the winner will definitly be part of the gallery, but if you are also convinced that one of your arts have to be part of the gallery write a note with "submit obscuristic" and we will take a look at your deviation and whether it fits into the concept or not and if it is worth submiting the deviation.
